The iSCAN NX is designed to sleep the screen, in order to conserve energy. You can customize the amount of time it takes for your NX to sleep in the Setting Menu. In this guide, we’ll review the sleep functions as well as waking your NX.
When the NX diagnostic APP or the support on demand SOD app are open, the screen will not go to sleep. This is to prevent unwanted sleep during critical functions.
In the Set Up menu, enter the Display menu and select Screen Timeout.
There are multiple options for different amounts of time that the screen will remain on before sleep.
In the event you want to conserve battery life while utilizing the NX diagnostic or SOD APP, briefly tap the power button to sleep the screen. You can raise to wake the screen by briefly tapping the screen or power button again.
