Pass-thru vehicle programming as provided by OEM for use with OEM reprogramming application software is available for select makes.
Connection Guide
Vehicle Connection
- From the Main Menu select J2534.
- Select the appropriate Vehicle Make from the list.
- When prompted, connect iSCAN3 to PC using the USB Cable (PS-C)
- [On PC] Specify the Vehicle Make drivers using Device Config. [cont. on section 6.3 for details]
- Launch the appropriate OEM reprogramming application software on your PC to continue vehicle diagnosis.
- Select ‘Autoland,’ as your pass-thru device from the list of VCI.
J2534 / IMS2 Utility (Windows PC)
- AUJ2534 Utility Notes

- You will not need to run AUJ2534 Utility for every use.
- It is only necessary when the COM port number changes or a different Vehicle Make (since the previous session) is being tested.
J2534 /IMS2 Utility Set Up
- Download the latest version of AUJ2534 Utility *This is a compressed file. Use 7-Zip or WinRAR to unzip or ‘Extract’ the Windows Installer. Follow the steps on the Install Wizard to complete the install.
- From the Start Menu select All Programs and select [Device Config].
- In the User Account Control prompt, click “Yes” to continue.
- Click on the [Device Setting] Tab.
- From the Vehicle Config dropdown menu select the appropriate vehicle make and Click [Apply].
- Click [Auto Detect]
- Once iSCAN has been detected click [OK] and close the window.
- Launch the appropriate OEM reprogramming application software on your PC to continue vehicle diagnosis.
WIN 8 Troubleshoot*
? WIN 8 TROUBLESHOOT [Disable Driver Signature Enforcement to Install]
- Click on your Window/Start button -> Settings -> System -> Recovery -> Advance startup and click on [Restart now]. Be sure to close all apps and save everything in order to avoid unwanted data loss.
- Wait for your PC to restart and boot in the Recovery mode with a blue background. The section you need is called Troubleshoot.
- Next, click Advanced options.
- Choose Startup Settings.
- Click Restart.
- Last step. On the Startup Settings page, you need to select option #7. Use the F7 button to disable driver signature enforcement. Once you hit the F7 button, Windows will automatically restart with driver signature enforcement disabled.
- Done! Now please reinstall the AUTOLAND J2534 Utility and launch the OE Software you will be using. After vehicle has been fixed, you only need to restart your laptop to get out of this Disable Driver Signature Enforcement mode. No no need to enable it back. Restarting your laptop will get you back to normal windows 10 start mode.
